Flu & Immunity Campaign 2021

As we all continued to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, it was more important than ever to get the word out about the importance of protecting yourself and your loved ones by getting your flu shot. MWW handpicked influencers to take their audiences along their flu shot journey; sharing why they got their flu shot, the ease of using Rite Aid’s online scheduler and encouraging audiences to pick up some immunity boosting products to help support their immune system as flu season approached.

The #RiteAidGetThriving campaign got off to a strong start in September and wrapped up in the first week of December. The program’s 21 influencers delivered 121 pieces of unique content across Instagram, Instagram Stories, Instagram Reels & TikTok; which generated across organic and paid; 16.7M impressions and 14M engagements, which included over 13M video views on TikTok, Instagram, and Instagram Stories. Paid media dollars were hard at work, of the 134k total clicks, 65k paid clicks sent consumers to the scheduler, with an average CPC of $1.69 on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. More than 64k of the organic clicks were driven organically by our TikTok standout partner Robby Cole, who pulled in similar clicks for the COVID campaign in 2021.
